Michael Otim, Board Chairman, Co-founder Michael works as Head of Office for the International Center for Transitional Justice in Uganda. He is among Northern Uganda’s most prominent civil society activists and one of very few key players in transitional justice issues in Uganda.
Margaret Ajok, Board Member Margaret is the Executive Director of the Center for Reparation and Rehabilitation (CRR) and received a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from Makerere University in 2004. Since 2011, she has held the position as National Advisor on Transitional Justice to the Justice Law and Order Sector Secretariat of the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs.

Tonny Komakech, Board Member Tonny is the Finance Manager at the Northern Uganda Malaria Aids and Tuberculosis Programme (NUMAT) in Gulu, Uganda. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from Gulu University.

Dr. Erin Baines, Co-founder and Advisor Erin is an assistant professor at the Liu Institute for Global Issues, University of British Columbia, Canada. Her current research interests include local approaches to transitional justice; the politics of humanitarianism and forced displacement and the study of gender, youth and armed conflict.
Pilar Riaño-Alcalá, Advisor Pilar is an associate professor at the School of Social Work and faculty fellow in residence at the Liu Institute for Global Issues, University of British Columbia, Canada. She is also a researcher with the Colombian Commission of Historical Memory working for the last four years in documenting emblematic cases of war related violence in Colombia (gender violence, forced displacement, massacres, land grabbing).
