With the theme ‘across ethnic boundaries’, this year’s contest aims to share the different experiences of young people from different backgrounds during conflict and to allow them learn about ongoing developments at the national and international level as well as to suggest strategies to incorporate young people in ongoing accountability, reconciliation and healing processes.

38 schools from West Nile, Acholi, Lango and Teso sub-regions competed to secure a place in the final held on 11 July 2013 in Gulu.
